About Me

Day Spas appear horribly dirty places. I clean my very own residence and I even pay for a cleaning woman from Poland that comes every Friday, while I'm at work. Why? For no other reason than because I cannot get to everything, and I've demonstrated for them how I like cleaning workwork being done. It without a doubt saves me time, plus they do a spotless job.

But who is cleaning your day spa? I have no idea. Do they use bleach? How about the linens? I insist on using my very own for massage at home massage therapy. Am I insane? I think not! It is important to me to not use linens that too many other folks have used. Imagine if they ran out and ended up having to to re-use linens without first washing them? Gross..

The point is that the day spa is gross. I'm sorry of I'm offending all those spa-seekers out there; it's just my sentiment at the moment. I know the LMT walks awkwardly with that table around to other people's homes, but it simply stands there on four stilts. It isn't on the ground. I think day spas I go to seem neat and tidy enough, however the restroom is a public bathroom, therefore, so many people sit and contact everything, there have to be lots of germy surfaces.

I am simply no germophobe, I'm actually mixed up in biology research. I'd rather not get unwell or even catch germs from other people, even if they're harmless. It's like the supermarket: Using PeaPod at ShopRite, I need not touch a dirty shopping cart handle that 60 million other people put their hands all over. For that alone, I'd pay ten dollars.

The last time I spent some time at the day spa, before I began having massages in my home, I went to an upscale place that is over $180 an hour. After the massage session, when I was getting myself dressed, I observed the grungy layer of dirt on the tabletop. That seemed way out of place. Here I am, going to get a health services in the persuit of wellness, and I am asked to put my clean clothes onto a table that, apparently, under no circumstances gets cleaned. How many other folks put their clothes on that surface? Have they ever cleaned it since opening in 1999?

So for me personally, it's strictly in-home massage therapy places are going to turn into a thing of the past, like video stores and the neighborhood small retail store.

To be real with you, I must say I wouldn't care. I'm still recovering from Blockbuster disappearing. RedBox and NetFlix simply don't compare to reading the backs of movie VHS and DVDs and shopping at Palmer Video or Blockbuster. Yup; I'm a 90s kind of. Some changes we see are not always about more choices. But in-home therapeutic massage is definitely a new option that's great to have.

The Pampered Spirit of New Jersey, Mountainside On-Site Massage Therapy, and another newer company called Zeal are all compnaies I've tried. I make no recommendations. Find out for yourself what's best for you.
